Historic walks and afternoon teas are organised for groups in the spring and
summer and full details are available here. Currently these walks have been suspended due to Covid
19 restrictions. They will restart in Spring 2022.

Energy Costs in Rural
Area
Everybody
is affected by the rapidly rising costs of
energy which is a global phenomena. However rural areas are disproportionately affected as many
like Hampstead Norreys has no gas supply and must rely on oil for home heating. The cost of
domestic heating oil is not controlled by government so the prices reflected the large global price
increases.
However there is some help for local residents through the Oil Buyers Group. If you are not already
a member then take a look at the group's page.
