History
The team of Handbell Ringers were formed in March 2002.
Having received an "Awards for All" grant, the team purchased a 2-octave set of Whitechapel Bells in January 2003. A Chromatic set of 12 handchimes was added to the portfolio in 2004 and following the receipt of a further grant, we were able to add an additional octave of bells to our range and we now play a 3-octave set of 36 bells.

Handbell Ringers
We receive invitations to perform at many different types of functions, including concerts, church services, social events, carol services and weddings. If you would like to discuss the possibilty of the team ringing at your event, or occasion, please contact the Handbell Ringers.
The Team
Currently we have 11 Handbell Ringers, with a total of 36 bells. We also play handchimes which add a purer and more distinctive tone to our music.
The group practices once a week, on Wednesday evenings, under the tutelage of our conductor, Thelma Crossley.
