On a cold, crisp winter night in December, the streets of Hampstead Norreys were lit up with 1,000 sparkling lanterns on the night of the St Mary's Church Carol Service.  The village looked magical, especially with the snow on the ground.  The parade, with Santa and his sleigh, added to the magic and excitement, with around 40 people taking part.  I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who came along and those involved in organising this event, particularly Claire and Paul Trow-Smith for organising the sleigh, Mike Fulker for helping making the sleigh, Mike Spencer for his special role and all my amazing lantern sellers.  We raised £450 which was fantastic.
