We are keeping our fingers crossed for decent weather at the end of June at the very least as our second annual Beer Festival will again be taking place then (see below for details) – we were so blessed last year and a repeat performance would be fantastic!
We are now running our Kids’ Film Club on a Sunday afternoon (2.30pm) so that mums & dads will come and enjoy a relaxed lunch knowing the littlies can be entertained by a DVD in the games room once the boredom threshold has been reached...
Our Boules pitch has been tended and is now ready for Friday Night Tournaments – just roll up to join in.
Don’t forget the monthly quiz (first Sunday of the month) – a lively fun night where the competition is as fierce as ever! It’s also a way of finding out about forthcoming events and offers as it will be updated on a regular basis.
Finally, to promote the Open Gardens event happening in the village, the following week (from 21st – 27th June) we are offering to all parties who bring in a Gardens Programme a 25% reduction of their total food bill.

We will be opening the outside bar again and have a large range of real ales (including some from West Berks Brewery) as well as special deals on wine, Pimms etc. The main menu will be available at all times and we will endeavour to show as many World Cup games on our big screen as humanly possible!
